    It's that time again to clean those creeks before the arrival of the Winter storms. Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 25th from 9:00 AM -1:30 PM! Pitch in and rid Orr Creek of plastics, trash and debris. Friends of Gibson Creek is joining with the Wagenseller Neighborhood and the Mendocino Land Trust in celebration of California Coastal Cleanup Day. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes and bring gloves if you can. Lunch and liquids will be provided by Friends of Gibson Creek Stay for the duration and enjoy entertainment and raffle prizes! Registration is from 9 AM to 9:30 PM. Meet at the Orr's Street Bridge (between Ford and Brush Streets).

    ORR Creek Cleanup in Ukiah:
    Volunteers meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Orr Street Bridge (between Ford and Brush Streets).
    For more information, contact Linda Sanders of Friends of Gibson Creek at 463-2721.
    National Public Lands Day at Lake mendoc ino - Shoreline Cleanup:
    Volunteer registration at 8:30 a.m. at the Pomo Cultural Center Parking Lot off
    Highway 20. A BBQ with live music for volunteers will follow the cleanup from noon to
    2PM. Held in conjunction with National Public Lands Day. For more information on the
    Lake Mendocino Cleanup, call the US Army Corps of Engineers at 467-4200.
    Volunteers needed at 2 Ukiah Area Cleanups,
    3 Willits Area Cleanups, and 25 Coastal Cleanup Locations!
