How we are trying to make this event "green":
We are a socially-responsible company committed to producing zero-waste events that inform, inspire and empower the public to live greener lifestyles, and spark economic activity. As such, we work hard to make our events "truly green" and screen each and every exhibitor that participates in our events. For us, "green" isn't just a marketing slogan, but our core business philosophy.
We measure the following to make our events truly green:
1. Pounds of CO2 Reduced 2. Pounds of Food Waste Composted 3. Pounds of Solid Waste Reduced 4. Kilowatts of Energy Reduced
We encourage attendees to:
1. Take public transportation, ride a bike, or ride share to get to the show 2. Bring a reusable water bottle 3. Recyle clothes, shoes, small toys and/or ink cartridges at the event ( if applicable) 4. Take advantage of green bags, often given out at the show, or to bring their own 5. Use recycling and composting stations througout the show We encourage exhibitors and sponsors to:
1. Showcase only energy-saving, eco-friendly products, services and strategies 2. Use local vendors whenever possible 3. Reduce their use of paper and plastic products at the show 4. Use "green" materials for their booth displays and marketing materials 5. Implement ongoing policies and practices that reduce their footprint
