Thousands of building professionals from all over the world come together at Greenbuild for three days of outstanding educational sessions, renowned speakers, green building tours, special seminars, and networking events.
How we are trying to make this event "green":
USGBC employs cutting edge practices for green event management. Has Developed a Green Exhibitors Award including incentives for exhibitors to participate in the contest.
Encourages car-pooling, has used biodiesel-powered buses and powered offsite events by fuel cells. Other environmental achievements
include tons of waste recycled and food waste composted, achieving a large waste diversion rate. |
