How we are trying to make this event "green":

    Certified Green Event
We're committed to making every effort to minimize our event's footprint. Our Portland, Maine event was the first event in the country named a Certified Green Event by an independent, third-party. For more information on MEBSR and their "Green Event Certification Program" visit www.mebsr.org

At Green Home & Living Show, here's some of things we measure to make our events "truly green":

    1. Pounds of CO2 Reduced
    2. Pounds of Food Waste Composted
    3. Pounds of Solid Waste Reduced
    4. Kilowatts of Energy Reduced

    We also encourage attendees:
    1. To take public transportation, ride a bike, or ride share to get to the show
    2. To bring a reusable water bottle
    3. To recycle used clothes, shoes, small toys at the show
    4. To recycle ink cartridges at the show
    5. To use reusable "green bags" given out at the show for shopping, etc.

    We encourage exhibitors and sponsors:
    1. To showcase only energy-saving, eco-friendly products, services and strategies
    2. To use local vendors whenever possible
    3. To reduce their use of paper and plastic products at the show
    4. To use "green" materials for their booth displays
    5. To do anything else they can to make their organization and their exhibit, green.

If you have comments or suggestions about how we can make our events even "greener", please contact us!
