What would it take for Brooklyn to grow its own food? Build with recycled materials? Strengthen local communities? What is the role of artists in this process?
"Brooklyn Utopias?" artists will present their ideas for a more sustainable, “green” Brooklyn, including more in-depth presentations by artists Nathaniel G. Kassel and Bryony Romer. Guest presenters The Waterpod Project and BK Farmyards will also discuss their work building sustainable local communities, followed by a Q&A where visitors can voice their questions and opinions. The event will include hands-on demonstrations of projects you can do at home!
